Let’s build the public school system our kids deserve.

Power to the People:
A Participatory, Accountable School Committee

About Me

Why I’m Running

I am running for School Committee to build a Cambridge where every neighborhood school is a thriving, well-resourced community hub. My experience as a paraprofessional at Fletcher Maynard Academy showed me the incredible potential of our students and educators, and it convinced me that we have the resources and the creativity to solve our toughest challenges.

My mission is to deliver those resources directly to our classrooms and to pioneer a new model of participatory governance. I will fight to redirect our resources to fund universal wraparound services; train, recruit, and retain quality educators; and ensure a living wage for all staff by advocating for sustainable revenue. Most importantly, I will transfer power to the educators, parents, and students who know our schools best, through tools like participatory budgeting and community-led oversight. Together, we can create a school system that is equitable, inclusive, and empowers every member of our community to succeed.
